  • Increased class sizes

  • Budget cuts to vital academic and extracurricular programs

  • Teaching to the test

  • The Maintenance of Effort’s negative effects on the school system .

  • Additional graduation requirements

  • The replacement of on-level courses with honors courses, not allowing students to be appropriately challenged

  • In-school punishments for off-school transgressions

  • Increased bus waits as a result of the new bus depot

  • Infringements to the Students Rights and Responsibilities due to the reformed the Student Code of Conduct

  • Loss of class credit or other academic punishments for unexcused absences
